A woman has left many people completely shocked with her criminal act after she was found out to have shot at her husband and child.

Erica Shifflett, a woman from Maryland, USA, has been arrested by the police.

The woman was arrested after she allegedly shot at her own husband and her son.

CBS Baltimore reports that Shifflett has been charged with attempted murder for committing the brutal act.

Police say the shooting happened after 30-year-old Erica Shifflett got into an argument with her husband on Saturday evening, outside their home.

The husband was taking their son inside when Shifflett allegedly “pulled out a gun and fired, striking her husband in the upper body area and her son in the lower body area,” according to a police report.

Both victims were taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Shifflett has been charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault, and related charges.

She is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
