The statue of Jesus was the only thing left standing after a house in Tennessee, USA, got completely burned to the ground by wildfire.
The wildfires of Gatlinburg, East Tennessee have already taken seven lives and caused an incredible amount of destruction to homes and other buildings.
CNN showed pictures of the devastating damages caused by the carnage inferno. Acres of woodland were blackened and row upon row of homes and businesses were reduced to ashes. But it was the statue of Jesus which remained standing in the midst of the havoc that was the highlight. It was spotted by the TV crew with WVLT, an affiliate of CNN.
The statue was covered with ashes, but still stood upright.
