A mailman, identified as, David Camblin has been forced to resign after he was caught performing a $ex act on a mailbox at an unoccupied home. He was caught after the owner of the house, which no-one lived in, became suspicious of why there was a ‘puddle’ in the hallway.
In order to find out what was going on, a CCTV system was set up to try to find out. It filmed Camblin, who hails from Northern Ireland driving up in his mail van before getting out and walking up to the front door on August 9 last year.
He was then seen removing his Pen!s from his trousers and placing it into the letterbox before appearing to pleasure himself.
Just days later, on August 12, a similar incident occurred with Camblin once again appearing to masturbate.
On that occasion, Camblin who has been married for 17 years noticed the camera and stopped.
Camblin, of Tandragee, County Armagh, admitted three counts of damaging a door and floor. Initially, the man who owned the home sought $6,709 in compensation, claiming he paid over $1,250 for a new front door.
He also admitted performing a $ex act but denied ever urinating through the letterbox. He resigned from his job in October last year.
The court heard that Camblin, who has been married for 17 years, had been under stress at work.
The homeowner, who inherited the house from his late mother, was awarded $620 compensation and Camblin was told to carry out 100 hours of community service.
