US Singer and ex boyfriend to Khloe Kardashian French Montana has laid accusation on Akon, alleging that the Senegalese-American singer gifted him a fake wristwatch on his birthday some years ago.

The Unforgettable rapper made this accusation during an interview with DJ Funk Flex where he alleged that the fake watch incident happened during his 6-month stint with Akon’s label.

he said:
“Shouts to Akon, he gave me a fake watch for my birthday, I’m heated,” he said. “He was like, ‘Close your eyes, I got a present for you,’. Then he put a fake watch on my wrist, I’m heated.” However, he said he still has love for Akon. “I’m still waiting for my other watch Akon,” he added.
Asked if he knew at that point that it was fake watch, French Montana said, “Nah, I didn’t know it was fake.”⠀⠀

At this point, DJ Funk Flex tried to make the conversation light, while still throwing shade.
“Akon I need you to fix this up. Keep it a buck. Listen, we gonna go on the ‘gram, we gon’ tell fake watch busters to leave you alone, they not gonna post this up. But, we gotta clear this up,” the DJ said.
