Hundreds of passengers travelling to other parts of the country, were stranded on Benin-Ore expressway as the Federal Government locked down the state, The Sun reports.
The blockade on Benin-Ore Expressway, a major gateway to the eastern part of the country, caused a huge traffic jam on the major highway which crossed a commercial town in the state.
Commuters, mostly passengers travelling to the eastern and southern part of the country quarreled with the decision to block the major highway, especially as the elections doesn’t concern them.
Drivers of commercial vehicles are trying to negotiate their way, but the security men won’t give in.
