The year 2018 was a very wonderful one in the entertainment industry going by the interesting things that happened during the year.
Also there was a number of new breakout stars in the music scene as their work gained more recognition than in previous years. Music lovers in Nigeria would attest to the fact that Teni had quite a fantastic year in the industry.
Nigerian singer, songwriter, drummer and rapper Teniola Apata better known as Teni, Teni the entertainer or Teni Makanaki has reacted to her latest feat at Soundcity MVP awards on Saturday.
Teni who is the younger sister of popular Nigerian singer Niniola and has a degree in Business Administration from American InterContinental University went home with the Best New Artiste award.
Teni reacting to the awards wrote on his Instagram page:

The Soundcity MVP Awards 2018 has come and gone, but stories will be told for a long time to come. It had its compelling moments, the production was top notch but it was not without it usual hiccups as most artists who won awards on the night were not on stage to receive their plaques.
At the end of the third edition, the festival has proven to become less about the awards and more about the eclectic and intense performances, living up to its reputation and delivering a night of triumph for all the winners across the continent.
