Apparently, a whole lot happened at the One African Music Fest in Dubai that has not been fully accounted for (Well that’s why we’re here).

Following earlier reports at the events, David happens to be in yet another controversial mix. Word is, the host, Banky W, had already started introducing Ghanaian super star, Sarkodie on stage when he got a signal to introduce Davido instead.

This was disrespectful to Sarkodie as the rapper changed his mind, deciding not to perform again.

Sarkodie later took to twitter to apologize to his fans and also gave reason as to why he decided to change his mind.

Shatta Wale, who apparently had earlier had it going for Wizkid, was quick to respond to Sarkodie’s tweet saying its high times they respect their brand.

Another fan who seemed to be at the event, took to twitter to narrate the story that caused Sarkodie to change his mind.

So this is what happened in Dubai smh disrespecting @sarkodie, artists cutting in and performing when they have not been called to perform, wanna feel say we be some day nursery kids eh? Talking about “One Africa” this does not portray respect,orderliness nor unity
