The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has suffered another major setback as one of its senators defecting to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has led away thousands of supporters in Kano.
APC TV News reported that the senator “formally led over hundreds and sixteen thousands card carrying members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to the All Progressives Congress, APC today.”
His defecting supporters were received at Government House, Kano by Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the senior special assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on National Assembly matters – Senate Senator Ita Enang and other APC bigwigs.
