Nigerians on social media had celebrated singer and movie star, Bankole Wellington aka Banky W, after it was announced that he won the PDP primary elections for his constituency.
Two days after, a document seen online and signed by the party (PDP) proved he acutally lost.
He was seeking to pick the PDP ticket for Eti Osa federal constituency.
Nigerians have reacted to this new development and are actually asking how it happened.
Banky W has kept mum on the new development. As fans and well wishers wait for a reaction, social media users wonder what really happened.
Some have alleged foul play in the primaries of that day.
