This year, saw veteran singer Duncan Mighty participate in twenty-one features in a span of twenty-eight weeks – call it the Starboy effect, but all of these happened right after his classic collaboration with Wizkid dubbed Fake Love.
Prior to the release of Fake Love, the Port Harcourt first son who holds an unquestionable amount of talent wasn’t so much of a subject in the curriculum of the mainstream discourse. Unsurprisingly, the seemingly new buzz around the singer caused fans of Wizkid to posit that Ducan Mighty career had been resurrected by the Starboy.
Seven months later, Wizkid has finally reacted to the debate. After his joint performance of the said song with Duncan Mighty at his ‘Made In Lagos’ concert which held at the Eko Atlantic beachfront, the Starboy took some time to clear the air and appreciate the Port Harcourt first son.
“Dem no know say na me come beg you for that song”, the Satrboy revealed while celebrating Duncan Mighty. “…Today, I just want to thank you for blessing me with that song, ya’ll make some noise for this legend”, he continued.
