15 Artistes You Should Look Out For In 2020 (B List Category)

          2019 has launched several talented artistes into the music industry; a lot came into limelight while some are          still underground but have big chances of coming big in 2020. New rappers, singers. After the cut is a list of 15         artistes with potentials of taking over the Nigerian music industry in 2020 arranged in order.

1. MOHBAD

The Balanciaga crooner is definitely a step away from stardom as he has delivered so well in 2019. It’s no news the rapper is always seen on his instagram videos with instagram sensational act Zlatan Jnr, Mr Bee (Aje on the Mix) and crew. His cover of Risky by Davido was reposted by Davido himself has he since then began to gain more confidence, well we can say this is part of what motivated the young rapper. Mohbad also known as Oba Imole is known for his funny way of rapping which makes his flows pleasant to his audience. Mohbad has worked with top acts in the industry; Small Doctor, Oladips, Cblack.

2. Zinoleesky

Agege born and bred fast gone superstar has really had a big time in 2019 as he is the real definition of grass to grace, from ghetto to city. Everyone believes Lilfrosh his other half is the reason for him been heard today as they both have lots of songs to themselves the likes of “Who Knows, PIAB, Firi Yoyo” etc. It was said that Zinoleesky had an opportunity to be signed to DMW/AMW record label alongside his duo  LilFrosh few months ago of which he turned down. Zinoleesky released an EP recently titled The Orijinal and he should not be overlooked as the young singer was seen on his mentor “Kizz Daniel” musical video “EKO”

Some weeks ago the talented singer posted a video of him celebrating his first car (LEXUS SUV). Zinoleesky is always fond of his mum as it is obvious his mum played a vital role in his life.

3. KABEX:

Fresh University of Ilorin graduate is unarguably an energetic rapper who really deserves to be at the top in 2020. Kabex who is known for his instagram freestyles videos has helped the society in his own way with freestyles video talking about Violence and Education which paved way for him earlier this year. Yeye daughter which is one of the songs on his recently released EP album (No Bad Rap) has gotten the attention of other rappers to jump on a verse.  The energetic rapper has been making appearances in concerts lately this year and hes unbelievable catching the attention of the crowds with his freestyles. Kabex has been getting supports from big acts in the entertainment sector the likes of Makinde Naijaloaded, Oladips Small Doctor etc. Kabex is one of the artist we should all sit back and relax to watch out for as he’s worth the hype he got.

4. Lil Frosh:

“Firi Yahoo” crooner who just got signed to AMW/DMW label is having a good time in the industry. His hit song with Small doctor was a turnaround for him as the talented rapper stepped up in the industry. Lil frosh is well known on instagram for his freestyles and he was happy to have made a name out of it as the rapper is now invited for stage performances from the rapper. Nothing has been heard from the rapper since he got signed definitely the rapper is keeping all energies till 2020 which is just a week away.

5. Diamond Jimma:

Banks Nation singer, and Aje crooner has also lived a celebrity life in 2019 and he must have enjoyed every bit of it. His hit song featuring rapper “Otega” brought him into limelight has the song was well received by a large audience.  News has been spread that the singer who is a 400 level student of Tai Solarin University has just dropped out from the university to further his musical career has he didn’t opt in for his teaching practice which he should have gone for has a final year student. Diamond Jimma recently released a song with Zinoleesky which has enjoyed massive airplays

6. InternationalBoy

Multi talented afro-soul singer ”InternationalBoy” is one of the few artists to look out for in 2020. The Burna boy look alike has a great 2019 as one of Uganda top songtress ”Sheebah” featured him on the rmx of her hit single tittle: ”Exercise” + lots of international featured

InternationalBoy is unarguably one of the artists we should watchout for on our screens in 2020.

7. Bella Shmurrda

Vision 2020 crooner who has been endlessly working got what he wanted in 2019, his song Vison 2020 which he had the remix with YBNL boss Olamide has become a street anthem, the singer is no doubt bringing something less in 2020. The singer recently released a song featuring Zlatan titled ‘One touch’ and another one featuring ‘Mohbad’ titled ‘Adura’.  Bella shmurda is working on a bigger project has he revealed this via his instagram page recently.

8. BOD:

Unsigned Funaab student BOD really stepped up in 2019 as his song Shenk who shenk you featuring LRR boss reminisce has now become a street anthem. The video of this song has Terry Apala, guccy branch, Shina Peller Signee Eleniyan, Poco lee in attendance. Lets watch out for BOD also.

9. Akintunde:

Sleek Jamz rapper/singer 2019 was a remarkable one has the rapper was headlined with trending superstar Nairamarley in a concert in Nairobi. His single capable gave him a welcome into the street with Zlatan blessing him with the chorus made the song enjoy massive vibe. Akintundebtr is one of the best artist to watch out for in 2020

10. Eddy Ratty:

”Eddy Ratty” is a prolific songwriter and an amazing performer signed to House Of Rattyy int’l Limited. The afro-soul artist made a statement revelation recently with 247ariyaTV saying “His time has just begun and people should watch out for him comes 2020. The zebede crooner said his ‘Ep’ would be released in 2020.

11. Lil Show:

Master Pay promotions front liner Lil show had a huge achievement in 2019 has he revealed he just recorded a song with YBNL boss Olamide and Zlatan which is to be released in 2020. Lil show recently released song steady steady has topped blogs downloads of the week as the song enjoyed massive downloads.

12. Harteez:

Freshly signed to sniper entertainment rapper, the unrelenting energetic rapper got a deal with sniper entertainment in October 2019 through an instagram contest with a cash prize of 100k. Harteez travelled to Dubai alongside Zinoleesky for a tour packaged by Billique and sniper entertainment. Harteez released singles featuring artists like Mohbad, Kabex, Zinoleesky, Idowest, Otega, Cblack etc. lets watch out for him in 2020 also.

13. Dagizah:

Unsigned OYO crooner also had a fulfilled 2019 with his hit song OYO featuring Masterpay front liner Lil show. Dagizah who has been headlined in top events recently revealed in a recent interview with 247ariyaTV that he’s his fans should watch out for him has he has a lot to deliver in the forthcoming year.

14. Mc tunex:

Award winning singer MC TUNEX had a great 2019 has the young artist had collaborations with Destiny Boy, Dablixx, alabere osha, etc. In a recent interview with the singer he revealed he is dropping an EP in 2020. The hardworking singer deserves to be in limelight in 2020 as he is not relenting yet.

15. Anonymize:

CBN singer and rapper had a fun filled 2019 has he was seen in Nairobi lately this year. Anonymize also had singles with late Dagrin younger brother TROD and also DMW rapper Idowest. Anonymize is also fully set to serve his fans hits back to back in 2020 he revealed this in an interview with 247ariyaTV last week.
