The 2nd Edition of Ondo State car race 2017/auto race, coordinated by Ondo State Government, organized by Elizade Nigeria Ltd and reportedly held on Saturday morning 11/11/ 2017 in Akure, the state capital, was suspended after the competition was plagued by multiple accidents.

The competition which had racers like Peter Markis, Prince Adejuwon, Richard Ike, George Omode, Abiola Awosika, Nicholas Barberpohous, Olumiyiwa Akintola, John Momodu, Antonia, Sandouk, Kingsley Onome Uwatse, Ojosipe Babatunde, was called off after Peter Markis who carried Secretary to the State Government Hon. Abegunde in a Tigar Avon Car, got involved in an accident. No life was lost, however the sports Car almost got burnt and the engine got damaged.

Olumuyiwa Akintola car tyres busted immediately after the round about, but sustained no injury as he said he got experienced same thing last year in Lagos. Here are photos below;
