A football fan who was hoping for a selfie with Cristiano Ronaldo got bundled away by seven bodyguards as he rushed up to the footballer in a security scare. Local reports said the man posed as a journalist to get into an area reserved for press as the Real Madrid star and teammates reached their hotel in the Cypriot capital Nicosia ahead of the Spanish side’s Champions League clash with APOEL.
One security guard warded the fan off before he could reach the striker before others put themselves between the baseball-cap wearing fan and Cristiano.
