Lionel Messi and Antonella Roccuzzo have been in a relationship since 2008 and finally got married recently during his summer holidays on June 30th. The lavish ceremony took place in his native Rosario and was well attended by his childhood friends, neighbors and Barcelona teammates.

Two months later and news has leaked of some really good news for Lionel Messi’s household as they are expecting a third child. The couple already have two sons- Thiago and Mateo.

Their first son, Thiago was born on November 2, 2012. And when he was expecting their first baby, Messi placed the ball under his t-shirt during a match against Ecuador as a tribute to his wife and unborn child.

Mateo was born three years later on September 15, 2015. Lionel took to Facebook to announce the arrival of baby number 2, Mateo. Messi was not ready to miss the birth of his second son, as such he took permission from ‘Barcelona’ to miss training. He later announced on Facebook: ‘Today I am the happiest man in the world, my son was born and thanks to God for this gift!’
The latest news of a third child was revealed by ESPN Argentina.

“Pretty news! Lionel Messi and his wife Antonela Roccuzzo will be parents for the third time. Congratulations!” they wrote on Twitter.
