The world of football has been reacting to Wayne Rooney’s incredible achievement of scoring 250 goals for Manchester United
Rooney was introduced into the game with just 20 minutes on the clock as Man Utd trailed the Stoke City 1 – 0 at the Bet365 stadium.
Joe Allen felled Marcus Rashford on the left and Rooney stood up to score his 250 goal in all competitions for Manchester United.
Sir Bobby Charlton held the record with 249 goal which Rooney equalled against Reading in the FA Cup.
Then the record breaker himself posted a picture with the man whose record he broke; Sir Bobby Charlton.
