A pop singer punched and kicked her ex-boyfriend on the red carpet after he said she looked “ridiculous”. Tensions between Russian singer Alina Yan and her ex, only named as Roman, were high as they only split up the day before appearing on the red carpet together.

Roman was hosting the music awards ceremony the blur-haired singer was attending.

He slated Yan’s outfit at the swanky awards do, Russian Music Box 2017, in the town of Krasnogorsk, near the Russian capital of Moscow.

The brawl broke out after Roman said she looked “ridiculous” and like “puss in boots” with her outfit selection and she hit back.

Then he told the press they had recently split because he “cheated on her” during their relationship, which is when the row turned physical.

The incident was caught on camera near the press section of the show.

Later Roman said: “We were in a relationship during two months.

“When I saw her near the press-wall, I found her costume was ridiculous and told her about it.

“She went angry and attacked me. Everything happened very quickly, I did not even understand what happened.”
