Kenny Ogungbe Dismisses P-Square Fight as Shameless Publicity Stunt

Kenny Ogungbe is not at all convinced with the latest showing by Africa’s favourite twins, Peter and Paul Okoye of P-Square, who have been squabbling for days now.

Speaking on his Kennis Music Radio, the record boss says the latest Okoye family feud is nothing but mere publicity stunt. And why does he think so? Because many people have been calling in to request for P-Square songs.

He also added that the brothers may have yet another massive show coming up this December and so are using the stunt to create interest.

“I am sure they have a massive show coming up in December and they are using this as a publicity stunt. They have over 100 songs and people who called us on the radio within 15 minutes, requested for about 29 of their songs,” the record boss said.

“If you are breaking up after recording about 100 songs, will you break up to record another big song as a solo artiste? At what age? How many songs are they going to release that would be up to what they have released already? At what age do they want to do that when people are interested in listening to songs released by younger artistes?” he added.

Kenny Ogungbe went further to say: “Quote me anywhere that I said it is a game. In the video that was released online, Paul said it was a shame to Peter. It is a game (laughs). Quote me anywhere that I said that it is a game but if they don’t get back together, good luck to them.”

The Okoye family feud has been intense of late, with Peter Okoye accusing his older brother of threatening to murder him and his wife Lola. Are all of these really one big stunt?

We wait to see how it all pans out.
