As a way of reducing the Nation’s expenses, President Bola Tinubu, has given an order, directing significant reduction in entourages for both domestic and international events.
According to the presidential spokesperson, this directive, amounting to a 60% reduction in the county’s annual expenses and it applies to all Federal MDAs, the Office of the President, the Office of the Vice President, the First Lady’s office and the wife of the Vice President.
Ministers are now required to have a maximum of four staff, while CEOs of all federal agencies can travel with just two of their staffs.
President Bola Tinubu has further instructed that moving forward, the primary protection for his travels within the country will be handled by the security agencies of the respective states.
