The Management of the University of Ibadan (UI) has directed that full academic activities should resume on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 while lectures would begin on Monday 20th June 2016.
The announcement came after the closure of series of meetings held by the management with student bodies and stakeholders on Thursday.
It will be recalled that the school management on Tuesday, 26th of April 2016, shut down the institution indefinitely and ordered the students to vacate the campus with immediate effect.
This development came after students staged a protest over management’s victimization of a 500-level Engineering student, Michael Epeti, who took part in a recent protest by the students as well as poor power and water supply within the school campus.
In preparation for the resumption, students are expected to adhere strictly to all guidelines.
