A day that was supposed to be joyous has turned to sorrow for a bride-to-be on Sunday as her father and brother lost their lives on their way to her wedding when their vehicle had a head on collision with a tanker along Lafiya-Agyaragu road in Nasarawa State.
According to reports, two other relations lost their lives while four other persons sustained several degrees of injuries in the horror accident.
The victims were quickly rushed to Dalhatu Specialist Hospital, in Lafia, where the four persons were pronounced dead and those who sustained injuries were admitted at Accident and Emergency Unit of the Hospital.
The Nasarawa State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Mrs Susan Alegbe, who confirmed the incident said five persons lost their lives in the accident.
