Top Ugandan musician Bebe Cool has anniunced that embattled Nigerian musicians Tems and Omah Lay who were arrested in the country are free.
It has been a sad weekend for Omah Lay and Tems who were both arrested in Uganda shirtly after they performed at a sold out concert in the country.
They were also quickly charged before a Ugandan court on Monday, December 14.
However, after the Nigerian Embassey stepped in and social media protest, both Tems ans Omah Lay have regained their freedom.
Before Tems and Omah Lay regained their freedom, several Nigerian artistes and their fans staged a social media protest calling out the Ugandan government, the local musicians and the police calling to ensure their immediate release.
It is gathered that Ugandan musician Bebe Cool, worked closely to ensure the musicians regained their freedom. He share the news of their release from custody via Twitter.
