Nigerian singer, actor, and politician, Olubankole Wellington, popularly called Banky W as won the house of representatives primaries for the Eti-Osa Federal constituency under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
This victory comes as the singer is attempting to win a seat at the national assembly in 2023 after losing in 2019.
The votes from the primaries were tabulated and closely scrutinized by the delegates and members of the party in a video that has since gone viral.

What is funny about the entire thing is that, for most of today 23rd of May 2022, Banky was trending for losing the election. Congratulations to him!
