A young man survived death after trying to kill himself yesterday in Port-Harcourt, Rivers state after climbing a high tension wire. According to information gathered, the apparently disturbed man was begged with one million naira by those who were there including the director of Omega Power Ministry – just for him to come down from the pole but the young man refused and was finally electrocuted in the process.

He eventually fell down from the pole after being electrocuted.
