YCEE Floats Own Label, ANBT Days After Dumping Tinny Entertainment


Veteran rapper, Oludemilade Martin Alejo popularly known by his stage name, YCEE, has floated his own record label days after bidding farewell to his parent label, Tinny Entertainment.

YCEE had announced his departure in a post on his Twitter page on Monday.

He made the announcement as a response to a question from a fan who asked if he was still signed on to Tinny Entertainment.

The rapper said that he was officially confirming his exit from the label following speculations that he left the company since August 2018.


The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Ycee first came into the limelight in 2015 with the success of the monster single, ‘Jagaban.’

YCEE has now announced his own label titled “The ANBT Company”. ANBT being an acronym for “Ain’t Nobody Badder Than”.

He made the announcement in a post which reads:

“It’s been an amazing last 6 years of my life and career and I will always remain grateful to Tinny Entertainment for the opportunity presented to me by the platform. The label has come to become like family and while the business relationship might have ended, we will continue to fellowship as brothers and grown men.
As is usually the case, the end of one journey marks the beginning of a new one. I am more than proud to present to you all my own label The ANBT Company. I thank each and every person that’s aided my growth to the point I am at today and look forward to growing even more from here on out.
