The owner of British $ex doll company, Lovedoll, has revealed he is hiring out $ex dolls for £100 an hour, but clients will also have the benefit of getting a private space where they can test it for half an hour before they pay.

In a radio interview, the owner of Lovedoll who’s based in Gateshead, said he is running a ‘try before you buy’ scheme.

The businessman, named Graham, told Adrian Chiles on BBC Radio 5 Live: “We’re hoping this is a test drive so that they would then go on to purchase one of our products. The aim of the game isn’t simply the use of the service.”

The service was launched last month, and he said that “a few” customers have already tried it out.

He said customers will pay £50 to have $ex with one of his dolls for half an hour, before being offered the chance to buy it.

Graham also said the doll being made available for ‘testing and inspection’ retails at £1,800, an adult size which weighs around 30 kilograms, with life-like skin on a metal skeleton and realistic $exual organs.

Graham admitted to BBC Radio 5 live that he has tested the dolls himself. “It would be crazy for me not to,” he said.

“Once you realise you’re performing an act with somebody or something that has no judgement of you whatsoever, that is quite a freedom and that’s a developing freedom that a lot of our customers experience.”

According to him, this is an experiment and has no idea if there’s a market for it, although his doll sales have been growing year-on-year.

He also stated that customer wanting to test drive one of the dolls must provide contact details and pay in advance. They then visit a simple set-up in an industrial unit where a key code gains them entry to a small room containing a bed where the doll, wearing a negligee, awaits.

He also admits that if customers provide false details it is possible to make return visits.
