2baba Idibia Slams Charly Boy: ‘I am NOT Nigeria’s Problem. Why are You Calling Me Out?’

2baba Idibia slams Charly Boy, and this comes one month after the latter called him out during the Resume or Resign protests.

In case you missed all the drama, in August, Charly Boy took his protest to Abuja to demand that President Muhammad Buhari, who has been away from the country for over 100 days, either resumes or resigns. During the course of the protest, Charly Boy called out 2baba Idibia, demanding that the legendary singer speaks up too.

“See our country,” said Charly Boy in the post shared on his Instagram. “Say something.”

The African Queen singer paid him no heed, not even after the convener was attacked by hoodlums at Wuse Market, Abuja.

But, 2baba is finally speaking up.

In a new chat with Punch, he slams Charly Boy saying, “the only thing I have to say about the protest is that I am not Nigeria’s problem.

“I don’t understand why Charly Boy is calling me out. He should talk to the people that are Nigeria’s problem. That is all I have to say about that.”

It is unclear if Charly Boy’s protests were successful. However the president did come home days after Nigerians took to the streets.

Now, 2baba has given the long-awaited reply, but will Charly Boy respond? We wait.
